How we look after your company's data
Your books, payroll and customer records are the most sensitive data a company has. Here is how Dopave handles them.
Every company on Dopave gets its own separate database, so one company's records are never stored beside another's. Inside a company, each person sees only the modules and records their role allows — checked on the server for every action, not just hidden on screen. Every change and every sign-in is recorded in an activity log, passwords and integration keys are stored encrypted, and the workspace owner can download an encrypted backup of all their data at any time.
What is in place
A database per company
Workspaces are isolated at the database level; a company can also be moved to its own dedicated server.
Roles and permissions
Access by module and action, sales records limited to their owner and team, and two signatures for large purchases and payments if you choose.
Activity log
Who changed what and when, with before-and-after values, failed sign-ins and alerts for unusual activity such as bulk deletion.
Recoverable deletions
Deleted customers, projects and team members go to a recycle bin and can be restored.
Encrypted secrets
Passwords are hashed; payment, messaging and e-invoicing keys you connect are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM).
Your data, portable
Export any list to Excel, download a full workspace export, or take an encrypted backup locked with your own password.
Questions
Can another company see my data?
No. Each company's records live in a separate database, and every request is tied to the company it came from before any data is read.
Can Dopave staff read my records?
Our support console shows usage totals, not your records. If our support team ever resets a user's password for you, it is written to your own activity log and your managers are notified.
What happens to my data if I leave?
You can download all of it before you go, as Excel exports and as a full encrypted backup.
