Disclosure: This comparison is published by Dopave. We have tried to describe Daftra fairly, using only what Daftra states on its own public pages, checked October 2026. Prices and features change, so confirm current details on Daftra's website and on our pricing page before you decide.
The short answer
Daftra and Dopave both serve small and mid-sized businesses in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and both state support for ZATCA Phase 2 and Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) e-invoicing. The practical differences are in maturity, pricing model and scope.
Daftra is the established option. Its homepage says more than 45,000 businesses use it, it lists customisation for 50+ industries, and it publishes seven mobile apps, including an offline desktop POS. Paid plans start at 733 EGP a month on monthly billing.
Dopave is newer and built as a single Arabic-first ERP: a free plan for up to three users, modules you add one at a time (priced in EGP per month), an AI copilot that acts on Arabic or English text and voice, and a physically separate database for every company.
Who each one suits
Daftra tends to suit businesses that want a proven, widely used Arabic system for invoicing, accounting, inventory and POS, value 24/7 support by phone, WhatsApp and email, and want ready-made mobile apps, including POS that keeps working without internet. Rental and property businesses will also notice that Daftra lists rental unit and lease management.
Dopave tends to suit teams that want to start free and grow module by module, need operations beyond bookkeeping (CRM, helpdesk, projects, contracts, manufacturing, HR and payroll with GOSI and WPS) in one system, and want to work through an AI copilot or WhatsApp. Companies that care about data isolation may also value the separate-database design.

Pricing
Daftra
On Daftra's plans page, checked October 2026 from Egypt, prices appeared in Egyptian pounds:
- Basic: 733 EGP/month billed monthly, or 5,874 EGP/year
- Advanced: 1,225 EGP/month, or 11,731 EGP/year
- Premium (called الشاملة in Arabic, marked best seller): 2,448 EGP/month, or 23,520 EGP/year
The page advertises up to 30% off for annual billing. Plans differ by volume more than by feature: Basic includes 100 invoices and quotes a month, 100 new clients and one warehouse; Advanced raises that to 500 invoices, 300 clients and three warehouses; Premium is unlimited on invoices and clients. Extra users cost 392 EGP/month (294 on annual billing), and extra branches, POS devices and storage are also priced separately. One feature restriction is explicit: the manufacturing cycle is "available only in the Premium plan."
Daftra's plans page appears to show prices in the visitor's local currency. Saudi readers should check the page from Saudi Arabia for SAR figures.
Dopave
Dopave's pricing page shows two plans and a module builder, with prices in EGP per month:
- Free: 0 EGP, up to 3 users, 7 modules included, community support
- White-Label: 8,000 EGP/month or 80,000 EGP/year, all modules, unlimited users, your own domain, API access and reselling rights
Modules are switched on individually. Examples from the builder: accounting 790 EGP, inventory and warehousing 790, CRM 990, manufacturing 890, point of sale 590, HR 400 and the AI assistant 299 EGP a month. You can pay in EGP or in a Gulf currency through local payment providers. For a team larger than three, use the plan builder on the pricing page or ask Dopave's team for a quote before you commit.
What this means: Daftra's tiers bundle most features and scale by volume. Dopave starts at zero and charges per module, so the cost depends on which modules you switch on. Price the exact set you need on both sites.
Compliance: ZATCA and Egypt ETA
Both vendors state support for the two e-invoicing regimes that matter most to readers of this article.
Saudi Arabia. Daftra's KSA e-invoicing page says it is fully compliant with Phase 1 and Phase 2, connects to Fatoora, adds a ZATCA-compliant QR code to every invoice, and includes e-invoicing activation at no extra cost. Dopave states ZATCA Phase 2 support with a direct FATOORA connection; see ZATCA e-invoicing in Dopave.
Neither claim is a ZATCA certification. ZATCA's Solution Providers Directory states that listing is not an approval. Our guide on what "ZATCA-approved" really means explains how to test any vendor's Phase 2 claim.
Egypt. Daftra's Egypt e-invoicing page says it fully supports integration with the ETA system, sends invoice data automatically, supports e-receipts, and charges no extra fee for the connection. It also explains that you register Daftra as an ERP on the ETA portal and obtain an e-signature certificate. Dopave states ETA e-invoicing, with documents sent through an integrator; see Egypt e-invoicing in Dopave. The official requirements are on the ETA website.
Daftra also publishes e-invoicing pages for Jordan and the UAE, which matters if you operate across several countries.
Depth by module
Accounting and inventory
Daftra's features page lists a chart of accounts, journal entries, cost centres, a cheque cycle, fixed assets and expenses, plus products, purchases, suppliers, stock permits, stocktaking and multiple warehouses. That is a broad, mature core. Dopave covers accounting, inventory and purchasing as separate modules on one database, with approvals and supplier quotes alongside the accounts.
POS and online selling
Daftra lists cloud POS with printer and barcode support, a mobile POS app and a desktop POS that works offline, which is a real strength for retail. For online orders, Daftra's help centre documents an integration with Salla. A built-in store builder is not listed on Daftra's features page as of October 2026. Dopave includes POS and a website and online store module.
HR and payroll
Daftra lists organisational structure, contracts, attendance, payroll and requests, plus an attendance and self-service app. GOSI and WPS are not listed on Daftra's public pages as of October 2026. Dopave lists GOSI and WPS for Saudi Arabia, and social insurance and income tax for Egypt.
CRM, projects and manufacturing
Daftra lists client follow-up, loyalty points, memberships, work orders, bookings and time tracking, and manufacturing with production stages and bills of materials (Premium plan). Dopave includes a CRM pipeline, helpdesk, projects, contracts and manufacturing as modules you add when needed.
Mobile apps and integrations
Daftra publishes seven apps (ERP, POS, offline desktop POS, attendance, AI expense scanner, e-invoice reader and stocktaking), an app marketplace, an API guide and a developer portal. Dopave offers WhatsApp messaging for support, marketing and order updates, and API access on the White-Label plan.
AI features
Daftra includes AI credits in every plan (60, 200 or 500 a month) and an AI expense-scanning app. Dopave's AI copilot takes a sentence, typed or spoken, in Arabic or English, and creates the invoice, lead or task, acting only within the user's permissions. If you want to run daily work by talking to the system, test the copilot during the trial. If you mainly want receipt capture, Daftra's scanner covers that.
Switching from Daftra to Dopave
Moving systems is easier at a period end. A practical sequence:
- List what you need to carry over: chart of accounts, opening balances, customers, suppliers, products and stock levels, open invoices and employees.
- Download your data from Daftra as spreadsheets or reports. Daftra's help centre includes a guide to downloading a backup of client contact information; check which other lists your account lets you export.
- Keep your Daftra history accessible. Issued e-invoices and accounting records are subject to retention rules; check them on zatca.gov.sa and eta.gov.eg.
- Set up Dopave during the 14-day trial, enter opening balances and import your master data.
- Connect e-invoicing again. In Saudi Arabia the new system has to be onboarded on the Fatoora portal; in Egypt the new ERP has to be registered on the ETA portal.
- Run both in parallel for a short period, then switch.
If you would like guidance, ask Dopave's team before you commit. Our Daftra comparison page has a quick summary.
Choose Daftra if… / Choose Dopave if…
Choose Daftra if you want a mature, widely used Arabic accounting and invoicing system, you rely on offline POS or ready-made mobile apps, you value 24/7 phone and WhatsApp support, you operate in Jordan or the UAE as well, or you already use Daftra and it does what you need.
Choose Dopave if you want to start free with up to three users, you need CRM, helpdesk, projects, manufacturing, or Saudi payroll with GOSI and WPS in the same system, you want an AI copilot that works in Arabic and English, or you want each company's data in its own database. You can start a free account and test it with your own data.

Both state it. Daftra says it is fully compliant with Phase 1 and Phase 2 and connects to Fatoora. Dopave states Phase 2 support with a direct FATOORA connection. Neither statement is a ZATCA certification; ZATCA's providers directory says listing is not an approval.
