ZATCA QR code generator and reader

Make the QR a Saudi e-invoice must carry, or check what an existing one says.

Enter the seller's name.

An estimate for information only, not legal or tax advice. Nothing you type here is sent anywhere.

A ZATCA e-invoice QR code is a short Base64 text made of numbered fields: 1 the seller's name, 2 their VAT number, 3 the invoice date and time, 4 the total including VAT, and 5 the VAT total. Those five are the phase-1 QR. Under phase 2, invoices also carry the invoice's hash (6), its digital signature (7) and the public key (8) — produced with the seller's own certificate from ZATCA — and simplified invoices add the certificate's signature (9).

Questions

Is a QR from this tool enough for phase 2?

No. Phase 2 needs fields 6–8, which only the seller's own ZATCA-issued certificate can produce, and the invoice must be cleared or reported to ZATCA. This tool makes the phase-1 QR and reads either kind.

Is the QR this tool makes the same as Dopave's invoices?

Yes — for the same five fields the text is byte for byte what Dopave writes on a Saudi invoice; our tests check that. A connected Dopave workspace then adds the signed phase-2 fields.
